People’s Conference for Palestine

As the genocide in Gaza exposed Zionism’s criminality and brutality to the world, the global movement responded instantaneously with millions taking to the streets in solidarity with Palestine. From mass mobilizations, to direct actions, teach-ins, targeted boycotts, and students rising up, the masses of the world came together for the call of a liberated Palestine. 

With this tremendous growth came the need for unity and consolidation. For this reason, we convened for the first Peoples Conference for Palestine (PCFP) led by a coalition of Palestinian organizations in North America, in May 2024.  

In August of 2025, 4,500 people came together again for the second PCFP under the banner: Gaza is the Compass. With the goal of strengthening the movement, we reconvened to assess the state of the movement and recommit ourselves to the long term struggle for the liberation of Palestine.

As the zionist settler states' crimes continue in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Iran and across the region, we know the fight is far from over. The People’s Conference for Palestine will return in the Summer of 2027 in San Jose, California. Details soon, stay tuned.

PEOPLE’S CONFERENCE FOR pALESTINE: AT A GLANCE

The Palestinian Youth Ensemble

The 2025 conference saw the official launch of the Palestinian Youth Ensemble, a musical initiative composed of diaspora Palestinians and Arabs to both confront Zionism on the cultural front and preserve the tradition of revolutionary music in the diaspora.

Children’s programming

During the conference, we exhibited a large-scale art installation of Gaza before and after the genocide – highlighting the occupation’s systematic annihilation of all aspects necessary for life in Gaza. Built by Palestinian and Arab youth and architects in the diaspora, this exhibition is a way of documenting genocide from exile.

At the heart of our work is the conviction that the next generation will carry the struggle forward. The conference included programming for children – instilling a love for Palestine and deepening their connection to liberation.
